iPhone App of the Day: Antiques Glossary
June 23, 2010
Continuing the iPhone app phenomenon is this one which gives you a glossary of antique and collectable terms for a variety of different antique related subjects. Funnily enough, it’s called ‘Antiques Glossary’.
I haven’t tried this one, so I have no idea if it’s actually worth its weight in gold, but I do admire the concept. It’s based around terminology without any pictorial reference, so it may be a tad tricky to use if you need to query the seller or fellow collector for help about what something is in front of you. Essentially, if you look up ‘Art Deco Furniture’, there is a short description of what that is and you can walk away happy in the knowledge of what you’ve learned.
Coming from Deep Powder Software, this one will set you back $1.19 and if you give it a shot, let me know how it goes.
Here’s their spiel:
